Credit repair is action that is taken to improve a person’s credit score. At Crusader, our credit repair service consists of two very important services.
First, we work to get your credit report as positive as possible by making your credit report as accurate as possible. This involves removing and updating inaccurate, obsolete, and unverifiable items on your report. Over 70% of credit reports have errors that hurt credit scores. Credit bureaus report all information they are provided with, without checking to see if the information is accurate.

Second, and equally important, aspect of credit repair is “coaching” clients on how to best use their resources. Very few people understand how a FICO score works and therefore very few people know what their best moves are when it comes to using their financial and credit resources to have the maximum credit score. This knowledge is vital to survival in today’s world but it isn’t taught anywhere! At Crusader we give credit coaching during the initial consultation and throughout our services. We encourage our members to call with any questions they might have.

This question is impossible to answer without seeing the specific details of your situation. It will vary from 1-6 months depending on your individual credit file and what your goals are. You will be given a time estimate during your free consultation.

Can I Do Credit Repair Myself?
Like most services, you can technically do it yourself. But you should be sure to research all the laws and techniques thoroughly first. Without experience you are bound to do something unhelpful or even harmful to your credit. Credit repair involves a lot of different strategies and the best one is not always obvious. We are learning new techniques all the time to help our customers even more.

Can Items you get Deleted get Added Back to my Report at a Later Time?
Creditors can re-report information to the credit bureaus anytime they choose. The creditors must pay to do this however. The only time is worth paying to “repost” your negative information is in the case of unpaid collections. In our experience it is extremely rare to see any negative information to reappear (be reposted) on a credit report.

Is Credit Repair for Me?
Almost everyone can benefit from a higher credit score. Very few people have over a 720 score, so very few people are getting the best rates and the very best credit offers.
